Todd Heavin is Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Grede.

Todd re-joined Grede in December 2024. Todd is directly responsible for leading Grede’s operational transformation strategic imperative driving improvements in safety, operational execution, continuous improvement, supply chain, and purchasing across all 10 Grede plants.

Todd has over 40 years of manufacturing leadership experience in aluminum, zinc, and magnesium die casting, gray and ductile iron casting, forging, machining, plastic injection molding, assembly, plating, and painting.

He has held positions including Quality Engineer & Manager, Plant Manager, General Manager, Group Vice President, President, and Chief Operating Officer. Todd has managed facilities in the U.S., Mexico, and Europe.

For over seven years, Todd led the operations for the metalcasting divisions of Citation, Metaldyne, and American Axle. The organizations and operations we now call Grede.

Todd is a graduate of Michigan State University. He resides in the Detroit area and is based out of the Grede Headquarters office in Southfield, Michigan.
