Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

 

Michael “Mike” Lobbia is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Grede.

Mike oversees all finance, treasury, accounting, and legal activities for Grede.

Mike joins Grede from General Motors, where he most recently served as CFO of Global Purchasing & Supply Chain from 2017 to 2019 and a direct report to GM’s CFO. Prior to that, he served as Finance Director of U.S. Sales & Marketing, Customer Care & Aftersales from 2016 to 2017. He started with GM as the Finance Director of Powertrain Product Development in 2014.

Prior to joining GM, Mike spent 13 years with Federal-Mogul Corporation where he held various roles of increasing responsibility in cost and pricing analysis, corporate development, business development and operational finance. Ultimately, as Senior Vice President of Powertrain Finance, he led all financial activities for the global business segment.

Mike began his career as an engineer with Ford Motor Company and eventually Visteon, where he worked in multiple design and development roles.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. He also holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind. Mike also participated in the Transformational Leadership Program through Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif.
